Considering that there is already a similar card, Syphon Soul, and it costs only . I think yours could be WAY too strong. If you're only facing 1 opponent, that's still a 12 point life swing.
I'm sure it would ruin your Transmute ability, but your cost needs to be a lot higher.
Laquatus's Champion costs 6, and hits 1 player for 6 life, but they could still get their life back when he leaves play.
I would think that Crush Soul would need to be at least just to be balanced.
