Is that like a permanent addition to the effect? In that case I suggest also exiling Ghost Writer so you have a card reminder.

Actually with full control of the frame I'd make the whole mechanic work like this: Make a keyword action that exiles the card into the program and have a separate text box for the effect the card has as part of the program, so the card text would be:

> When ~ dies, you may pay {1}{w}. If you do, add ~ to your program, then run your program. (Cards added to the program are exiled.)
@PROGRAM - Create a 1/1 white Spirit creature token with vigilance.

Yes, it's a permanent addition, barring adding cards that act upon the program.

It would make the most sense to allow the cards to act as a reminder, though then of course Dragon Technomancer wouldn't work (not that that really matters). I had envisioned players simply keeping a note with their program on it, but that requires bookkeeping in a way that might be unreasonable.

Technomancer could use tokens

Ooh There could be a limited number of program effects, and they could be released in packs as tokens and then used differently by different cards.
