Interesting. Quite a lot better than Skyknight Vanguard, but being 1 mana more expensive makes quite a difference. Also strictly better than Skyknight Legionnaire, which seems perhaps more dubious: that was already a very solid common both times it was printed.

Maybe this doesn't need the haste? Or maybe the tokens shouldn't have flying? This is a one-card win condition in short order if the opponent doesn't have a 1/2 flyer/reach (or an immediate kill spell).

Yeah, this is pretty pushed now that I think about it. I think I want to keep the flying+haste, so maybe making the token a one-time-only deal is enough to bring it in line. Comparing it to the legionnaire, you get the extra token in exchange of being uncommon.
