1: All other flipwalkers had an exile clause. How important is this?
2: Is a line such as "Vanos transforms" syntaxically ok? Or should it be, "Transform Vanos"
3: Is it a problem that the -1 and -2 gives abilities, then transforms, whereas the last ability transforms, then gives abilities?
4: If you activate the planeswalker in your first main phase, then attack and transform, can you activate in your second main as well?
5: I felt esper was best but what do you think about colours? Red feels flavourfully on point but this kind of mechanical fuckery is esper's forte.
6: Is a 3/3 for 4 the best stats to cmc ratio?
damage --> combat damage
Transform is a keyword action, so it has to be written "Transform ~." It's something you're doing to the card.
Flipped the planeswalker to the day side so it functions much better.
Yeah this works far better. Now, it comes down and can 'hide' it's planeswalker self by becoming a creature, or even defending with first strike.
Then on subsequent turns the Vanos play pattern begins. Can you get in with a vanilla 3/3? Great, Vanos gets 3 loyalty. Can you get in with menace or first strike? Vanos gets 2 loyalty. Do you require flying to get in? Well you only net 1 loyalty counter in the exchange.
I don't know why the creature side is stuck in the planeswalker format.
