I like Suspend. But a big strike against it is that while it may be grokkable, it requires so many words in reminder text that it becomes untenable.
I also like it when spells have mini-games. So I created a suspend variant that gave your opponent a choice. The front of the card is always a simple, yet powerful effect. The reverse side is usually more elaborate and destructive; it's a punishment for your opponent who stalled for time.
There's a couple of color pie bleeds on the transformed side. It has haste because all suspend creatures have haste when suspended. Players just expect to be able to attack with them after waiting so long. I'm just taking advantage of the extra space on the reverse of the card and writing it there.
Trample is in Blue's color pool, but it's almost always on a gigantic rare, and usually a Leviathan. My argument for having it here is that the front of the card is the 'true' card, and the mutated color pie stretch is on the back of the card is part of the opponent's punishment. I like how making the backs of the cards stretch the color pie helps to set them apart, and makes them feel nastier.
