May I suggest templating similar to Phyrexian Splicer: "Target creature with flying loses flying UEOT and target creature without flying gains flying UEOT."

Hmm. That's interesting. It's better mechanically, but loses some points on flavor. It seems odd that the non-flying creature still gets flying if I Doom Bladed the flying creature in response. I'm changing it over, but if anyone else has an opinion, feel free to say so.

I like the "stealing flying" flavour, but it wasn't really clear to me even from the previous version of the card. Perhaps make an uncommon or rare version that could suck multiple abilities?

If terms of templating simplicitly, could we even go to "target creature loses flying UEOT and target creature gains flying UEOT"? That loses more of the flavour, but shouldn't work the same way with fewer words?

Jack: Problem with that is that you can activate it if there are no flyers on the board, just three ground-pounders. "This Grizzly Bears loses flying and that one gains flying! Haha!" I think that'd make quite a large percentage of the actual activations that happen in-game feel just wrong.

I'm earmarking this for a potential move to uncommon. Though, if we did that, I'd want a different answer for flying in blue... and I'd prefer it be a creature. Since I don't have one right now, the sponge is keeping the spot warm.

It's possible we don't need an answer to flying in every color, but, then again, maybe we do. I think I'd rather see a common answer in every color for now, unless limited tells us otherwise.

Not a Drop to Drink is also an answer, but I agree it makes sense to have "lose flying" or similar at common as well if we can.
