+1/+1 was not specified UEOT (was intended to be), now is a counter because it looked really bad before and now is not as bad

I would recommend

Yeah; the "Don't do it till your next upkeep" on enchantments is for alt-win conditions; where the opponent REALLY needs to be given a decent chance to respond.

This just kills one of their creatures and makes yours a bit bigger. No real reason to delay it.

Upkeep seemed more natural, but Vitenka is right: the ability doesn't need to be delayed by an additional word. Used Tahazzar's suggestion. @Tahazzar: Why no make it clear why you made your suggestion?

There isn't always time to go into details + it might already be that you would know what the changes are implying.

Auras are always somewhat disadvantageous so having the creature removed on opponent's next turn before it had any time to activate would be really sad. With end step it also mimicks the common sorcery fight spells that makes it easy to grokk and remember. Given that the card seems a bit weak and the end step change makes it a bit stronger seems nice as well.

"Up to one target" changes it so that it doesn't have to fight your own snow creatures if there aren't any other snow creatures on the field. "Up to one" instead of "may" makes it so that you don't have to target anything (illusions creatures would die for example + that's unintuitive anyway).

Creatures don't "get" counters instead they are "put on them".

"Then" provides a clear sense on how / in which order the operations / triggers are sequenced together.
