Hot. I do like, and you're right on about the reanimation strategy. Add a lot of looting, and you can get some crazy card advantage by turn 4. It's certainly a reason to pack 4x Zombify and 3x Resurrection.
It reminds me of Sun Titan, which is definitely Spike (and also Timmy).
Hmmm. Reminds me of Reya Dawnbringer (who was fairly Timmy) and Reveillark (which I always thought was Johnny, but maybe turned out to be Spike).
I also like how the numbers line up on the card (there's a
in her CC, she's a 6/6, and the numbers in her text box add up to 6)
Made Resurrection Angel, Overwhelming Darkness, Burst of Inspiration, Awaken the Wild, Molten Charger, and Reassembling Dragon.
Made for Challenge # 043. Spike would probably want to first try using this in a reanimator strategy, but at 8CC it is still possible to hard-cast it in the late game if you end up drawing it. Big, splashy flier with a very strong ETB trigger that survives Dismember. Being able to first strike down titans may end up being too good, might have to be a 5/6 or lose first strike.
A description of the three player psychographics can be found here, but, basically, Spike likes to win, and he likes to win in a way that shows he can out-think his opponent. Cards with a converted mana cost of seven or greater, though, are most often considered unplayable in constructed environments without reanimation shenanigans. There are, of course, exceptions, like Karn Liberated and Cruel Ultimatum. Design one of those exceptions.
Yeah, please do.
Am I cool to take the next challenge?

I don't think green should get lifelink, because as MR points out, green and white are kinda similar anyway, and having green get non-lifelink lifegain is one of the differences. I'm not sure whether being on the back of the card makes it ok or not.
Come to think of it, if the problem is flavour, maybe the backs of the cards should be different colours, like the white 1/1 which flips into a black 3/3. But it's too late to change Thraben Sentry to flip into a red night card.
Hm. I'd completely forgotten this cycle. I see I was trying to expand Thraben Sentry to a cycle where each card flipped from a 2/2 with an on-colour ability to a 5/4 with the ability of the next 2/2 in the cycle which wasn't primary in that colour but fit flavourfully.
But now I think green lifelink and black vigilance are probably a lot more weird than white trample, so it probably shouldn't be done.
Heh. I thought this read "Werewolf Pelt" at first, and wondered why that wasn't the flipped side/granted hexproof to the flipped side.
I've been tempted to put lifelink in green before, so I'm actually okay with that.
Black vigilance is so weird.
