And perhaps, I can make something like
These are meant to work with the rare lands in constructed, and are supposed to be counter-intuitive and helps with some of the cards that has only B in the mana cost but needs a mountain tapped to do an effect.
Is now a Panorama.
I'll nerf this somehow
It's fairly similar to Farseek, which was a deliberate riff on Rampant Growth for a set with shocklands, and Terramorphic Expanse casts Rampant Growth. So I can see why 10vernothin thought this would be fair. But I strongly suspect it isn't.
This could ETB tapped and maybe even have a
mana cost and still be good. As is, it's way overpowered. Note that this ALSO finds Dryad Arbor. The only card with that flexibility that I can find is Spoils of Victory.
I suspect Wizards would nerf this. Terramorphic Expanse / Evolving Wilds are fine cards; a version that works like Arid Mesa's whole cycle to find shocklands is quite strong, even if it has to make them arrive tapped.
Hmm, so there's now two cycles of these? Ten commons that work just like basic lands in the absence of any other effects... might be too many?
Also, I suggest that you make this either have the red background and a
mana symbol, or the black background and a
mana symbol. Having both red background and
is a bit too confusing given that this doesn't actually normally tap for
.
(Is there a Power Conduit in the block, by the way?)
This whole set screams CHAOS, even the lands >=)
Also this gets weird with the rare cycle of lands. Although it has a Warp counter and therefore counts as a plains with the rare W land, whenever you tap it for W, you still get G. =P
I made them so they interact with Warp counters now. Makes more sense stylistically WHY they tap for another mana. They're "Warped"
