Gold cycles of class-class pairs
Kind of complicated because there are 15 class-class pairs, but only 10 color-color pairs. That means some color pairs are repeated. So I decided to make 5 gold uncommons and 10 gold rares. The uncommon color pairs belong to the races' main colors (each race has a minor tertiary color for the purpose of this cycle.)

soldiers have hexproof
cleric to soldier; changed second ability
change duration so no untap ability works
didnt notice the timing issue
by separating into 2 abilities, you can use it to ramp temporarily, or offensively to keep a land tapped.
I don't think granting "This land doesn't untap during your next untap step" until end of turn works. What were you going for here?
:P
It was both. It occurred to me we should make some tribal-affiliated spells. At the same time, out of the blue, Duelist Convocation popped into my head, and thought it would be cool to make a card and some people would get the reference. So duelists seem a perfect match for warriors who like to fight.
...I can't tell if this was a top-down design from the name, or a bottom-up design (using the set's two themes of tribal and control-change) for which you happened to find an awesome name.
Either way, well played :)
