Since Coaxkika's jungles are based on Central America I've taken most of the species names from the Nahautl language.
Balam comes from the Mayan word for jaguar. Chini comes from the language of the Incas. It means bat. Unfortunately, while I did find sources for the other names I'm having trouble finding the again.
