Mechanics

Split second: As long as this spell is on the stack, players can't cast spells or activate abilities that aren't mana abilities. Used on 5 cards: Final Word, Sudden Reversal, Suspended Animation, Stupid Green Spell, Seize Hostage
Blessed: If this spell/ability would be countered by a spell or ability, instead it isn't. Used on 2 cards: Fragnoth, MacGuyber

Bless is like regeneration for spells and abilities. But this blessing may be ignored sometimes.

Detonate: You may cast this face down as a 2/2 creature for {3}. Turn it face up any time for its detonate cost. If you do, you may cast it without paying its mana cost. Used on 6 cards: Spout Trap, Darkness Trap, Arrow to the Wing, Pillage Trap, Gravedigger Trap, Seize Hostage

This keyword goes on Traps only.
Additional rule: As a state-based effect, an instant or sorcery card or token on the battlefield is put into its owner's graveyard.
So if a face-down Trap card is turned face-up other than using detonate, it can't be cast and will be put into the graveyard.

Morph: You may cast this face down as a 2/2 creature for {3}. Turn it face up any time for its morph cost. Used on 3 cards: Pridemage Templar, Shadowmage Striker, Arcane Exchanger

Morph returns as permanent version of Detonate.

Infuse from Arcane: As you cast this spell, you may pay PARAM1. If you do, exile an Arcane card from your graveyard and add that card's effects to this spell. Used on 2 cards: Devilish Consultation, Crossroads Barter

Reverse splice. This keyword goes on Arcane only.

In card text or details pages, write the mechanic's code name (playtest name) between square brackets, like "[Crittercast]", "[Bushido 1]" or "[Delay 4 {2}{R}{R}]". It will be expanded to the mechanic's name plus reminder text, such as "Suspend 4 – {2}{r}{r}. (Rather than cast this spell from your hand,...)"
To expand a mechanic's name but not its reminder text, include parentheses at the end of the square brackets: "[Crittercast()]", "[Delay 9 {R}()]".
