I'm aware that I can probably have only one cycle (especially not fetchlands and full duals together, though I like the fact one's an allied cycle and the other is enemy), I'm just not sure which yet.
It's probably best to compare this card to a dual land, then to Evolving Wilds. Compared to Glacial Fortress, this seems spot on. That infers to me, however, that this is a rare, for what that's worth.
I'm waffling on this a little: this cycle DID start out ETB tapped (though I must mention the inspiration was originally Krosan Verge). The Panoramas and Terminal Moraine say it should probably put the land on the battlefield tapped, though.
So... as long as this isn't your first turn, it's an island or plains, plus one mana in your pool.
I think that means the replacement had better ETB tapped at the very least.
What, the high cost or the hybrid thing? It actually started as a card that hit only creature, but when I came up with the semi-hybrid cycle idea (I don't consider it multicolor because it doesn't require white), I realized it could go into red if it hit players too, but needed upping because that can get nasty pretty fast (it basically makes creatures hasty and unblockable). As I said elsewhere, I prefer costing high than low, but then I haven't started the playtesting anyway.
Hmmm, a fling or fight that doesn't destroy the big creatures, but does mean you can't use them for a turn. Probably fair for the cost. Kinda an odd cost too.

Mmmm, it's a hard counter with an upside... but it's still a hard counter, so probably ought to be double blue.
made into a creature
A variant druid? I can see that.

Why do you say that? I actually think it's fine as is, since you don't actually accelerate your mana. I like this a lot, actually.

Thank you. I wanted an excuse to have hybrid b/c I have an idea for a fetchland cycle that could use it.
Yeah; the "odd" was referring to the
cost. Which I like, and is funky.
