Noted. I'm not budging on the gold, since that would affect the whole set, which I'm not interested in reforging. But, if the interaction could be simpler and the card not be so swingy with a second copy, I'd be happy to hear suggestions.

This is not a common in so many ways. Not with the complicated interactions, gold and ability to go arbitrarily high with a second copy.

4 mana and an extra card seems like a fine added cost to turn Shock into a one-sided wrath. This is a very good card; but not completely dominating I think.

So the inspiration was to let one combat trick buff your whole field, but I'm also cool with letting this work with Murder to wipe a player's field. That being said, there is some cheaper removal, so maybe this needs be pushed to a five or even six cost.
