was missing cardname before the first "red"
For whatever, I forgot the rest of the cards in this cycle used "Banner" in the name and not "Sermon." If people prefer the flavor of a sermon to a banner, I'll change the cycle name to "Sermon."
I liked Radiance (can't inset eye thing I wanted to do, the image of the monkey puppet would work instead).
Neat combination of effects.
Missing line break between triggered ability (ETB) and static ability (Pacifism).
The damage spell your creature is happy it got targeted with over your other creatures.
Radiance had terrible game play. I see you don't intend to learn from it.
Sorcery to Instant.
The second ability needs to specify that it's on etb (I presume)
The keyword phasing is not returning, but "phases out" is now deciduous and is being used instead of flicker sometimes
Removed "
:Target creature that was dealt damage this turn becomes colorless and loses all abilities UEOT." I did consider it costing
and pinging all creatures that didn't match the colors of mana spent.
Added a "you may" so you aren't forced to put a Stress of Perfection on your creature.
Is phasing deciduous? Is phasing expected to appear multiple times in a set? I haven't been paying attention; I'm not being rhetorical. For simplicity though, I'll change it to what you suggested.
It depends on whether you want Holy Seclusion to return and attach to the same creature or any.
I suppose nowadays I'd use this instead:
> "

: Phase out enchanted creature until end of turn. When it phases in, attach an Aura card from your graveyard to it."
Attached permanents automatically phase with their enchanted permanent, so that would make things simpler.
Persecute directly is problematic with this since it only occurs during combat, which also would be the main obvious source of damage to satisfy the condition Humbled by the Gods right now has (a blocking/blocked creature that survived combat damage).
Maybe a Blazing Volley-variant that also makes all affected creatures colorless? Could have similar flavor.
Maybe damage + color/ability-stripping to all attacking/blocking creatures?
Flavor-wise it is weird that making your own creatures colorless would have the same effect on persecute, and likewise this becomes a drawback if an opponent uses persecute... I guess, that's what the Humility is for. I think it's mostly a badly designed aspect of persecute.
There are only three creatures available to red with persecute and not a single mono-white creature with it.
Removed "This creature gains trample UEOT." and "This creature gains "When this creature deals combat damage to a player, destroy target nonbasic land" UEOT. Removed flavor text "Polsfa's mystery knows all that nature can do. When is the question that keeps them up at night." Does this feel appropriately mythic now while still feeling RG hybrid?
@dude1818- Removing the colors sets creatures up for Persecute or the creatures that gain a benefit from being an additional color.
@SecretInfiltrator- The "was dealt damage this turn" was red's condition. That being said, I don't have much in the way of cheap pings for 1, with most burn in the set being slightly more expensive for 2, which does make this hard to benefit from in the set. Besides removal of color benefits in set, loss of ability was just considered a non-specific general boon, for at any given time, how many creatures are in existence whose abilities either directly negatively affect you or positively affect their controller's board to the point that it negatively affects you.
"creature loses its mana cost (a permanent's color is determined by its mana cost)"? Too complicated concept for canon magic, but neat idea.
I feel this card is straight up weird, especially the "was dealt damage this turn"; if you have direct damage, you'd rather have used it as removal than turned something colorless, otherwise this would likely be used post-combat which means precious little "until end of turn" left.
Sure, this could elevate burn to deal with indestructible, but in a very convoluted way - and would feel wrong flavorwise, at least if this set's Gods are indestructible. I'd have to check.
I feel, this card might have a very specific purpose, that I'm missing.
This seems like it should also remove a card's devotion, but it doesn't. I'm not sure what the point of making it colorless is
I don't think, this card has room for flavor text.
Also there is something weird about that flavor text. That second sentence reads like a question, so you probably wante
> "When?" is the question that keeps them up at night.
Not that I can make out any way to connect that to the statement of the previous sentence. Maybe that flavor text itself is the mystery? I can see myself losing sleep over trying to figure it out.
Weird that a card called "Unpredictability" can be consistently recurred. On a mythic rare card, I would hope for cooler options than three mana for Rush of Adrenaline, but only at sorcery speed.
Would an outright Lure effect be better suited to the card than an LD effect that encourages blocking?
I feel you can do better for a recurable mythic rare.
"if no player lost life this turn"?
"if no player lost life this game"?
"carf"? :)
If you want the opponent to chose:
> "Each player who milled a creature card this way chooses a creature they control. It gets -3/-3 until end of turn."
If you want the caster to choose, you need a reflexive trigger:
> "When a player's mill a creature card this way, target creature that player controls gets -3/-3."
If you want the opponent to choose, but insist on targeting anyway, use a reflexive trigger:
> "When a player's mill a creature card this way, target creature that player controls of their choice gets -3/-3."
"3 life"
That flavor text... doesn't really set itself up well. I think you should swap "they" and "Zax Tykl's followers" unless you wanted to imply something else than I guessed.
Thanks for the catch SecretInfiltrator
