I considered Blazing Salvo but I wanted this to be more in line with Lightning Bolt. It does the same thing for the same cost but the targetted player has to decide whether to 'take the burn' or scarifice a creature (as the caster decides both targets - player & creature)
Yeah, I was going for flavour on this one, works as a 'bad' common that 'might' see use in limited.

Took your advice templating wise but reworded slightly to get the effect I wanted. How is it now?

made the change which does make it much clearer, also moved it to Uncommon which is a better place for it I think.
