That was part of a different design. Forgot to take that out. Edit: - skip draw step
If you skip your draw step, you'll never draw cards to replace with casting a card instead
Changed to make sense. I feel like since hexproof covers permanents and players, that it should also cover spells. EDIT - hexproof + Can’t be the target of
Are your creatures with hexproof uncounterable? No.
> 702.11b “Hexproof” on a permanent means “This permanent can’t be the target of spells or abilities your opponents control.”
> 702.11c “Hexproof” on a player means “You can’t be the target of spells or abilities your opponents control.”
Note the reminder text
> Hexproof (This creature can't be the target of spells or abilities your opponents control.)
Creature as in a permanent on the battlefield, not a creature spell or creature card.
I would wager that adding additional rules for instants and sorceries with hexproof that differ in function to those in permanent cards would be very confusing.
Why not?
Your spells would be untargetable. Counterspell and Cancel both say "Counter target spell".
Seems like it should work. If it doesn't, then that's a bug in the rules.
Of course; this card is just too annoying to be permitted to exist. But that's a different issue.
Hexproof doesn't do anything on spells
