Design Goals (In Prog):
Cube designed like a set with same rarities. Idea from here:
Create a slow environment where building up to large Eldrazi is feasible.
Make this a land set/cube to same way Mirrodin was the artifact set.

The goal of this card was a land inspired by Spawning Bed without the feel bad factor of losing the land. It accomplishes the goals of making lands matter (zendikar) and allows you to store mana over time cast a giant eldrazi. I used Westvale Abbey to cost it since for the benefit of not paying life and getting scions you lose the opportunity to transform it.
Repeatedly generating token defaults to rare since it allows you to generate incremental card advantage over time. And since it's a land card I was being conservative and costed it at rare. I am considering moving it down to uncommon to push the theme of lands mattering (the same way Mirrodin downpushed artifacts below their usual rarity to get the feelings of artifacts being special).
Edit: And now I've realising I'm going to retemplate all Scion makers as well.
Reference card Vitu-Ghazi, the City Tree? That one mana buys you one mana and a lot of color independence.
I don't think it's wrong though. Is that the reason this is rare?
For the hedron token or just for a flavorful zendikar filler card: "Hedron Capsule" by 3Dspacejesus (reddit).
Or 2b converted mana cost equal to the number of lands you control.
Or cast trigger draw six and shift villains wealth + land effect to uncommon/rare lieutenant cast trigger.
Three mana so not worse than Archivist and/or Sea Gate Loremaster.
Change to Djinn of Wishes variant with "Exile the top card of your library. You may play it. If you don't put it into your graveyard.
Common act on impulse that only effects two cards. Perhaps reveal and play immediately or put into graveyard to avoid exiling yourself. Rewards aggro deck with small creatures.
Now reveal top card until you get a land, land onto battlefield and keep the rest.)
1W cantrip gives target player two life. The targeting used to not make it strictly worse than Renewed Faith.
