Looking at yet another possible design for the Sultai mechanic, focused in blue.
This card seems interesting, as it can only be used as a combat trick on the defensive, but it can still be used as a sorcery-speed buff or as a burn spell.

I like this card a lot, but it's probably a bit strong because repeatability...
How about, When Blick exploits a creature, you may pay if you do, destroy target creature or planeswalker....
That means you have to wait until turn 4 where they start losing permanents, and you are also sacrificing other cards and effects for this. I think adding a cost means being able to reuse it doesn't hurt the game so much.
sassen frassen mechanics on rares not being expanded...
Ok; so, when ~ ETBs you may sacrifice a creature. If you do, a target dies. And it's a 2/2 haste.
So, yeah; this is a stupidly repeatable kill spell. As soon as you have one more creature in play than your opopnent, you can start whittling them down and they'll never have another creature in play again. And then you don't even need a finisher - it can plink them to death 2 at a time. So this plus any token generator is a lock.
But only a soft lock. It's not impossible to counteract; but you do need instant speed to do it. That seems rather too good for something you can start doing on the second turn. Seems like a deck built around it will often go "T1 goblin, T2 this, T3 opponent punches you in the face and walks away."
Eh; I dunno. Repeatable removal is a thing. It feels like this is too cheap though, given you're getting two damage on top of it.

Was in the wrong skeleton slot
Alternatively, I could have it shock or drain 2 life
Added 1 to the cost; I’ll keep it here until I’m ready to playtest

I think it has the potential to be very oppressive.
Yes, I’m aware. Think it’s too much?
True, but the repeatability makes it very different from those cards.
