Cute.
What is American folklore without Sasquatch? Tried to emulate Lewis and Clark's journal entries for the flavor text.
Two-for-ones aren't very common in Common, especially in Green, but I'm willing to let this slide since it's narrow and not very good. Best-case scenario, this is similar to (((Grip of Desolation))). In most multiplayer settings, this shouldn't be maindeckable like Plummet was in Conspiracy.
Trying out some new technical wording on Standoff to allow for clearer wording in cases like this.
One of the weaker Barter cards, simply offering a 5/5 for 4, the same rate at most Mythics/Rares. Still strong, I think. The only Caribous in the game are tokens created by Caribou range, but I feel like it would be a disservice if I called it an Elk.
Also reminiscent of Orzhov Charm.
Yeah, nice.
I think this is likely fine. Time to Feed was rather nerfed: the basic Prey Upon ability is one mana, and adding for a cantrip used to be completely standard.
Oh, I like this a lot. Precedent in Alesha, Who Smiles At Death's ability, Return to the Ranks, etc, but Ojutai's Command is the only one where the opponent has no prior warning. This looks great as just a simple "the first ability from Ojutai's Command".
Increased the mana cost. 2/3 for is not playable, so I've given it reach. Not sure on the size of the text box, but Parley and Myriad were both supplemental abilities and on the wordier side.
+1 toughness. Now strictly better than Armored Warhorse, which I think I'm okay with for now.
Adding an extra lifegain bonus. Two +1/+1 counters and +2 life isn't necessarily worth , but for a common I think it's fine. I don't want to up the counters because going into the 5/7 range might put it into the "too good" territory.
I think the metric I will use for Barter cards going forward (at least until the first playtest) is "creature and reward are both equal to similar costed spell". For example, this creature is equal to a Centaur Healer or Chronicler of Heroes (pretty much average rate for a GW multicolor creature), while the effect is similar to Meadowboon, or Reap What is Sown.
Mostly useful for recurring creatures with Hostage or Deathtouch for surprise blockers.
Oracle is a good hero in DotA. Most of the time this will be just a Lightning Helix that you can't use when you're low on life, but it can be good for a quick 3-point lifegain on a friend. Not sure if this is useful enough for the bump in complexity.
Not that the set needs more mana sinks with all the dashing going around, but here is another one.
Another generic fight card. Costed similar to Time to Feed, but might need to bump it up to 4 mana if it proves to be too powerful.
