Intent: Supplementary card for color fixing/discovery that doesn't favor color pairs.

That link is invalid.

Are there gonna be any other Lair cards in the set besides this cycle? If no, then idk... Ash Barrens?

Lair is introduced to the set on this cycle - further cards with the subtype are an option I am aware of, but don't want to commit to.

The set needs a cycle of common lands that you can put into your deck for additional cardnames since the set mechanic discovery cares about cardnames.

Basic landcycling is already a major part of the set, but comes with a damning drawback: Basic lands have a limited number of names. So the options are to make more differently named basic lands or find a way to make nonbasic lands accessible as well.

An alternative solution I also consider is to use typecycling for basic land types and then introduce low-rarity nonbasic lands like Mistveil Plains.
