Not sure off the top of my head what you use to win with this on turn 1, but I'm certain there's something.

Phyrexian mana is inherently perfectly balanced so there's nothing to worry about. /s

Sources? You mean objects? A source is always defined as a source of something e. g. damage, mana... But a spell would not generally be considered a source.

You're right so I edited the card. "Object" appearing in rules text is unprecedented so that's probably why my mind wandered toward the related, more familiar "source" word.

EDIT: "Cards" might be more understandable.

Can the reminder text clarify what the phyrexian mana equivalent of monocolored hybrid mana is?

I think a better way than replacing the actual mana symbols is to just allow colored mana costs to be paid with life.

After all this could be just a Treasonous Ogre effect where the mana is specified to be only usable to pay for colored mana symbols.

It's only Rage Extractor that really cares.

Well yes; but that's like THE deck you'd build with this.

I don't actually have a problem with this existing. It just needs to cost about 4 real mana.

Although only replacing the costs on things rather than their activations and kickers makes it more tolerable, it's still ridiculously good colour fixing.

Mechanically paying mana with life may be the same, but the whole flavor is entrenched in turning stuff to phyrexian. The current wording translates that idea directly and evocatively.
