So there are many of them and they suffer. How does that inspire a vanilla 6/6?
I'd expect something with a painful mechanic like life loss, discard, self-mill, sacrifice abilities.
What is it they are suffering of?
okay will change it to something like that
A six mana 1/1 which is basically only ETB effects. If you are designing something like this, maybe you want this to be a sorcery rather than a creature.
Yeha; I'd suggest it be a sorcery; perhaps with one of the modes being to drop a 1/1 token into play?
Further the modes are really unconnected and imbalanced. I doubt, adding a token creation option would help add focus to it.
Willing to make this anything flavorfully relevant.
Will turn to sorcery until i/we get a better idea
I also like that this no longer is a modal spell.
Sorceries usually don't have p/t.
They don't... but... yup; the rules permit it. Cards may have P/T. Objects may have them. Nothing limiting that to just creatures.
Of course, only a creatures P/T do anything, if a sorcery for some reason has a P/T it just sits there, but if something goes to look what it is, it'll find it.
Definitely space to maybe do something interesting with that. Should Lightning Bolt be 3/0 perhaps?
Six mana feels like a lot for these effects. Or rather these effects feel small for a six mana rare.
came up with something else.
