That's an unfortunately nested ability. Also, since unity is an ability word, you can't actually check to see if something has it. It's basically flavor text.
then how do you suggest I edit the wording?
Personally, I'd ditch the attacking requirement:
When ~ dies, if you control another creature with Unity, you may draw a card.
Or maybe:
As long as you control another creature with Unity - when ~ dies, you may draw a card.
But heck; why not go big:
Whenever at least two creatures with unity attack - draw a card.
My concern is that unity needs be an actual keyword, which means it needs to do something by itself (even if it's just a marker like devoid).
