Dead Weight variant.
Charge 2 → Charge 3. Not sure how to scale this ability, goes from lame to OP super fast.
Yeah, this is tricky. It has unintuitive rules behaviour. The creature very briefly gets -3/-3, but it never has -3/-3 at the time of an SBA check, because the aura is sacrificed as part of the resolution of the same ability that puts the second counter on it.
...Well, more precisely, it depends quite how Charge is written in the Comp. Rules. It'd be possible for it to be two abilities - an activated ability with cost
and a triggered ability. If it works like that, then this does give the creature -3/-3 for just long enough to kill it if it has 3 toughness (but anything 4 toughness or higher will only very briefly go down by 3).
"When the third is put" sounds like a separate triggered ability. It'd be more normal to say "Then if it has three", which makes it all part of the same ability.

Yep, it's like a reverse Vanishing, you could even counter the sac trigger to have it stay on the battlefield.

I was testing the waters for this space, but I agree that I should avoid this specific effect in charge cards (at least at common rarity).
