Gawrsh. An actual honest to goodness strong kill spell. No real comment her except "Common?!". That's gonna make draft environment painful for all involved.

Yeah, this might either be made an UC or increased in CMC. The additional cost should factor in however, there really can be moments where you just don't have a basic land on your hand, which makes this card dead.

I think is is probably fine for power level. It's reminiscent of Bone Splinters. It's always card disadvantage.

The problem is that this will encourage people to mana-screw themselves. If I have a hand with two of these, it's probably a trap to try to play them both until I've already got 4-5 lands on the table.
