Wording looks a little weird, but I think this is the cleanest version that: 1. Lets the created token deal the damage 2. Doesn't kill hexproof stuff 3. Doesn't have issues with fizzling

This is quite strong in limited right now -- might move up to {3}{2/r}{2/g}.

Why "target player creates?" Any particular motivation behind that?

Prevents fizzling. Similar motivation to Savage Alliance having a target player for the trample mode.

Currently this feels like two cards bolted together.

Maybe link them by making it be "That player" instead of you, who chooses the creature? So sometimes you'd give use this on a teammate?

It is just two cards bolted together, but at least two cards with some synergy that haven't been bolted together before. "That player" seems like a solid change.
