Was never able to get the flavor I wanted in WU.

Since the flavor is out, I was thinking that if the ability isn't mythic enough that the ability could be "creatures you don't control cost {1} to untap."

The old ability never felt mythic. After changing the ability, I decreased the the power from 5 to 3 and increased the CMC to 6
