One of the ten colour-pair archetypes.

Black-red is traditionally an aggro combination. I think that works well for my plan in this set: Rebels with Overthrow (if I go with Overthrow as the Black Knights mechanic) backed up by black mecha, removal and Geasses.

As discussed on Raid & Revolt, Overthrow didn't work too well. I'm thinking of Raid as the theme to black-red. So this will obviously include a bunch of cards with raid abilities, as well as various ways to trigger raid even if you don't have creature superiority, such as evasion effects.

Cards that work particularly well in this archetype:

• Common: Assassin's Strike, Ghetto Cleanser, Ruthless Strike Force, People's Champion, Bragging Skirmisher; Recovery Gambit, Aggressive Gambit, Distraction Agent, Incendiary Preacher
• Uncommon: Jailbreak Liberator, Rebel Spy, Guerrilla Tactician;
• Rare: Daring Hijacker, Charismatic Revolutionary;
