Playing with the enchantment theme in conjunction with +1/+1 counters. I was thinking maybe this should be an enchantment aura itself, but "enchant enchantment" is weird to me and it would make the wording more complex.
Took off flying, made it uncommon.
Seems similar to the enchantment reanimator spell we already have. The enchant enchantment thing does sound a bit weird but it could be done. Or this could just be a sorcery that turns a nonaura enchantment into a creature. Have to word it so it takes enchantment creatures into account though, 'If its not a creature it becomes a 0/0 Elemental.' kind of thing.
It effectively would be competing for the same slot as the other enchantment reanimator, yea.
Ooh, good point about Auras - this probably needs to say "target non-Aura enchantment", otherwise it'll immediately fall off then immediately die from SBAs.
"Becomes a 0/0 Elemental creature" is fine, actually - Start Your Engines works on already animated Vehicles, and Lifespark Spellbomb works on already animated lands.
Changed to "non-aura enchantment".
The thing about Start Your Engines is that it doesn't affect the base power and toughness of the creatures its affecting. Lifespark Spellbomb was made in a set where there were no animated lands, plus most lands are not creatures in the first place. In this set we have enchantment creatures and to reset their p/t to 0 plus change there type seems like it doesn't mesh well with them. Why would I want to use this to reanimate my Doomwake Giant for it to become a 3/3?
Seems like not working well with enchantment creatures is a problem with this card then. Otherwise I think it works for turning normal enchantments into creatures, which is the basic intent.
