Utilizing the bounce theme on blue DFC to trigger a counterspell.
Changed from uncommon to rare.
Changed to an Unbound synergy card.
The idea here is that it has Unbound synergy with
abilities in particular. I'm not sure if shapeshifter is quite the right creature type though, as this is more similar to ooze cards.
Ooze is a black/green thing. Shapeshifter fills a similar role for blue.
Yea shapeshifter is the closest equivalent I think.
Is this card OP as it currently is? A lot of cards that do similar things are more limited. Necrotic Ooze only applies to creatures in graveyards. Experiment Kraj only applies to creatures with +1/+1 counters and is a higher CMC legendary creature. While this only applies to untapped creatures, creatures being untapped isn't that much of a limitation.
Maybe this could only get the abilites of tapped creatures? Lets the opponent have more control over what they give to you in a similar vein to the other two. As it stands players might not want to cast some creatures because their activated abilites will get 'copied' while you control this.
Changing it to just tapped creatures would definitely make it a bit more restrictive.
"~ has each activated ability with
in its cost of each creature you control" seems like a sensible restriction for an unbound rare.
That's a good suggestion, as it keeps it closest to what the real intent of the card is.
Changed word to just refer to creatures with
abilities.
Would it be too powerful for this to apply to opponent's creatures too? I like it for now, just wondering if it might be a little too restricted now and could easily say "has all activated abilities of each other creature with
in its cost."
Changed to apply to all creatures with T abilities. Don't think that's necessarily too oppressive.
Gave name. Could still be placeholder name.
