i like the idea of a returned phalanx in green, but i don't think this trigger is going to be super-relevant given it only matters if they cast their spell before your declare attackers step

could make him {g}{g} and trigger the defender loss when a Forest ETBs? that's super-green right there

yeah that's a lot better, but it needs support from the rest of the set. have you got a land-sac draft archetype in mind? if there were a few enablers sprinkled through the set that'd be enough, it's still a fine card without the trigger.

I thought up the new ability thinking more about older formats- this would be fun with fetchlands, ghost quarters, etc. There won't be land sac, but I will probably put in a good amount of land destruction, so this could be good tech against a deck running a lot of that.

Actually I suppose I could include some, Resounding Impact already has it.
