I'm pretty sure if you have this and two other creatures, you can just attack with them all. The defender only kicks back in once the serpent is already attacking, so it won't matter.

Probably not the best card to put wary on.

Oh, that's really quite a nice wisdom card. Maybe a bit too stompy a wall to be common; even if it does cost six.

Yep, this looks sensible now. I wouldn't be surprised to see precisely this (5/6 4UU) printed in a set the next time Wizards do a wisdom theme.
