Usually humans are about even in all colors. Why is this white?

(The fact that one token is a white Human doesn't mean there aren't humans in other colors. >>)

Forteplaza was a city of white/black humans. Now it's separated. King Paolo married Icya, Princess of the Fae and joined the rest of the Umbra faeries, Queen Cecilia has stayed and joined the mermaids from Heavenlake, and the rebels have left to Mertinia and joined the jötun giants and the kithkin from Irecliff.

So what are these tokens? They are Mertinian kids. Kids born in the new world, outside the previous conflict. One of the first card I designed for this set was Adoptive Jötun, and so it became clear to me that the white tokens I wanted were not going to be Soldiers, or Warriors. They'd be the little guys.
