A madness improver, also works well with "Oh dear I have to discard at eot" and generally seems like a fun trigger to play with.

Really want to not have the ugly wording, but it probably still acidentally triggers an infinite melt-down of everything.

This way is fine. If it said "each other player discards a card and random, then exile ~", it'd probably throw a bunch more triggers on the stack as it went, but this way is OK.
