Hmm. At first I thought this could be 2 mana. Since it's like a mixture between Alpha Myr (a bad {2} -drop) and Steel Wall (a fine {1} -drop, but that'd make it a bad {2} -drop). But actually the flexibility means this would often work something like a 2/3, which is stronger than artifacts should get for 2 mana. I can't make up my mind, but it may well be that {3} is actually the right place for this.
