It isn't Kodama's Reach. So it's safe.
It pretty nearly is Kodama's Reach actually. Costing 1 more, but getting the land untapped sortof makes up for that.
I can't see many times when I'd want to Essentia this, mind, even if I had a deck that wanted things in the graveyard.
"Costing 1 more (or a creature more)" is a serious downside though. I guess if you're trying to ramp to 9 you won't care. But 4 mana for mana fixing? If I've got 4 mana my mana is already fixed.
