Looks pretty sad next to Priest of Urabrask. This is another time where your Shabti all being 0/1 makes for some pretty bad-looking cards. Perhaps this could be 2 mana, to make it like a Pyretic Ritual?

I was going to, but this is a common... t2 ramp into a t3 play is quite scary in red. The point of Shabti tribe is to overwhelm with horizontal power, but I guess 2R for a 0/1 seems pointless.

Horizontal "power" probably requires the Shabti to have some, y'know, power :P How many Veteran Swordsmith effects for Shabti do you have in the block? Hopefully at least one in each set at common plus a handful at uncommon and rare?

Probably. There are also many Shabti token generating effects and many effects that says "Shabti matters".

I'll probably put one in uncommon.

Shabti tokens are 1/1, 1/1 double-strike, and 2/1 first-strike and lifelink, 0/1 "sac deal 1 damage" and probably another 1/1 with deathtouch.
