Um. Isn't this strictly worse than Forest at the moment? Or is it intended to work with the rare cycle... in which case I don't think a card that's utterly unplayable unless you have a particular rare should be common.

it's suppose to work with the rare cycle, and also work with itself.

It's still at tweaking stage.
