Yes it does. I wanted something similar but that didn't give you a target to hit by itself.

Reasonable; and allows it to be cheaper too.

Very black cost though. Maybe flip one of those {b}s from the casting cost with the {1} in the activation cost?

Seems like it would be very powerful in the right deck, but not much good in the wrong one - so pretty much perfect.

Making it a bit more splashable would make it pickable as just a pure 2/3 deathtoucher... so on second thoughts, maybe not change even that. Triple black is a painful cost though.

The {b}{b}{b} is to make sure that it is only played in black though Vampire Nighthawk says I could likely make this {1}{b}{b}, Or make it a 3/3 maybe.

Guess it depends where the set is going - if you put it in a set that encourages mono colour, it's great as it is.

Yeah I guess you're right the cost will have to be set once it finds a home.
