Playing into the "untapped lands" area.
Muh. Was gonna talk about hard counters needing double blue, but I guess it's kinda like Power Sink.
True. It does make you wonder why this is a rare. Uncommon perhaps. The card doesn't make me want to call my friends and rant. I mean, all it does is counter a spell. And it's potentially worse than Syncopate (though, not always. I get that this is better in multiples.)
But that doesn't really bother me. My gripe is the name. When I clicked on the name, I was like "Ooh. How's he going to represent that with a card." Then I found out it was a counterspell. Man... you have been waiting a very long time to counter that spell, huh? ;)
V: This doesn't count as a hard counter, because it's conditional, like Mana Leak, Corrupted Resolve, Unified Will etc.
The design seems fine, but I agree the name is rather unintuitive.
