Is part of the joke that you can't add
to your mana pool?
It's my set; I can add creatures to my mana pool if I like :)
But no, it's just a comment on the weather.
(We're British, you know. We talk about the weather even in our cards' rules texts.)
I, uh, I only just realised this could be read as using a slang term for the Irish (who be snowed in right now). That also wasn't intentional. Which is a shame, because it's a heck of a lot better joke; despite sounding (very) slightly racist. Sorry 'bout that. T'was just a rice/ice pun on it being snowy and flooded.
