Hmm, a white spell tax. Also, hilarious storm hosing. No intrinsic way to get it exiled? I thought most of your remnant's had flashback?

And.. kinda flavour odd that the remnant of the spell is as, or indeed more, powerful than the original.

Not storm hosing as good as you might think, sadly: storm copies aren't cast. It's basically a white Miscalculation.

It's a less versatile Flusterstorm (but with the broader "target anything" of Hindering Touch): all the copies have to hit the same thing.

However, if you hit yourself with a Surgical Extraction after this resolves, you get an unremovable, better Nether Void. Is that really such a good idea?

Probably not, SadisticMystic, but I made this at like 3:00 am. Should I limit it to the first spell of a turn?
And yes, Vitenka, most of the spells with Remnant have a way to exile themselves, but I thought I'd leave that off on this one for power level reasons.

I'd guess it's fine then. It's difficult to get it to have its full effect; even if you DO, it hits you too; and even THEN all it's really doing is making the second and third spells each turn expensive.

It IS a white soft-counter, which doesn't care what kind of spell it's countering. But it's dual-mana and rare, so maybe that's ok?

(Also, sadly lacks an obvious relationship to Greed)

As is, it affects the first spell, too, and SadisticMystic has made me realize that Remnant cards would be dangerous with Surgical Extraction, but also with things like Shining Shoal and Force of Will. I think I'll edit this so that it doesn't affect the first spell. Then, at least, it would be like a soft Rule of Law.
