Obviously Sun Droplet inspired? I approve heartily; and want to combine it with Channel.

Even if you just combine it with Hex Parasite (among other cards), you've created a colorless Channel that creates colored mana, and gets even more fuel when you use it to smack your opponent. Way too broken.
