I'll mention again how Rakdos Guildmage's repeatable creature-kill ability needed "Discard a card" adding to its cost. You have additional costs to some of this cycle (e.g. this one), so I think this one really needs it. Cf Flamekin Spitfire (same mana cost for half the damage) or Hatchet Bully (requires a drawback for the activation).

The lifeloss ability is probably okay; it's a little better than Orzhov Guildmage's, but that card did seem very low power.
