Tempted to try the wording:

: If this is the first turn you have taken this turn, take an additional turn.
What "take an extra turn" means is "insert a new turn into the existing turn sequence, which you'll only end up taking when you get around to it after this turn is over", so you can't block a neverending stream of turns that way.

Yeah; "At the end of your turn, take another turn, unless last turn was your turn."
