I actually wanted to include that this has some kind of foresight ability in the name. To describe it as a single-celled organism so large it's literally mistaken for and genuinely believed to a lake takes a lot space in name already so I can't justify a way to describe the foresight as a passive ability connected to this creature.
You could try to make the "lake" a "scrying pool". Amoeboid Scrying Pool? Something like that.
You also have the flavor text available. What is your creative reasoning this scries anyway?
Don't see why it needs defender. Flash is a little weird for something sessile, but I guess it's necessary for the mechanics
Defender is to prevent the creature from being buffed and used as a beater.
I feel like wotc is willing to not give 0 power creatures defender a lot these days. A lot of the 0 power creatures in standard explicitly have ways to buff
That's true, but with the scry trigger, I didn't want this creature to be on the offensive.
