Right now, this can't die. Since it has CMC 3 or less, you can return it with its ability. Two ways to remedy this: 1) make the soultill number always greater than the creature's CMC (á la soulshift), or b) make it exile itself as part of the ability so it's not a valid target.

That's my fault. Both remedies are supposed to be in use, its just that this one is a special case.
