Welcome back to name that card! As we're gearing up for Card #100, we're mixing the keywords we've named together on cards. Here, we have a substitute-branding creature that might be a shock to an attacker, if you happen to have a pile of mana ready. But what is its name? And what is its creature type?
[I noticed that I originally had Brand go off as a sorcery. Well, that wouldn't make sense here, so I removed the restriction. If only the people at Wizards had that kind of flexibility. XD ]
Pitch Pourer - Human Soldier
Art: Someone pouring bubbling black liquid through murder hole in ramparts, surprising attacking soldiers.
Name: Shadow of Malediction
Type: Demon Incarnation
Art: A blood-red mist with a vicious-looking expression exploding out from the chest of an injured warlock, who is mid-battle.
Flavortext/lore: Though warlocks are notoriously clingy to their own lives, that does not stop some of them from making arrangements on who will gain the rights to their body after their death.
It is even more worthwhile if the party obtaining this inheritance can only reap the benefits of this transaction once they bring vengeance upon the ones who offered them this fortune.
