Welcome back to Name That Card! We have a simple card today, but it's an odd 'Chinese Menu' card, combining two abilities in a way that could easily see print, but could be hard to combine flavorfully. That's your job. ;)

Drop the Detached

Bring Low following on from Froggy's approach.

Ooh, that's better than mine. I was getting tunnel-vision on having to have alliteration.

Thanks! I feel like there must be an even better version which explains what the spell DOES in order to "bring low", but I couldn't think of it.

Alternate approach: something like "Aether Storm". Except that's already a card doing something else :)

Honestly, Jack, I think you hit this one so perfectly that you might have scared off other submissions. Since Froggy agreed that yours was better than his, I'm just going to cut to the chase, skip the poll, and give this one to you. I know you think there's some theoretical better version of what the spell is actually doing, but I don't. Abstraction was the only thing that was going to connect these two abilities, and this double entendre does the job perfectly.

(((NTC #055))) in a couple of days. See you then!

"I'm just going to cut to the chase, skip the poll, and give this one to you."

Yeah! Down with democracy!

Ha! This week, it's more like I'm a lame duck candidate. I'm just pushing through executive orders before the next jerk is in charge. ;D
